Hi everyone, I have used the World of Dreams stamp set for this weeks Stamping and Blogging Sketch Challenge. Here is my card for SB78.
I loved creating the card for this weeks challenge, I used a few different techniques this time so thought I would share them with you. I started by stamping the image in Black StazOn ink on Whisper White card, I then cut the image out using the Window Frames Framelits. I punched a 1″ Circle from a post it note and placed this partly over the bird to create the moon. I brayered and sponged Daffodil Delight, Pumpkin Pie and Cajun Craze ink over the top to create the sunset and then removed the post it note. I stamped and cut out the bird image on a post it note and placed it on top of the stamped image on the brayered piece of card. I placed the post it note that I punched the circle from around the moon to use as a mask and then inked the moon using Versamark ink, sprinkled iridescent Ice Embossing Powder and heat set so the moon sparkles.
I created the background using my inkpads and coloured one of the Basic Metal Buttons in using the Pumpkin Pie Blendabilities.
and here is a photo of the inside of my card.
Here is a photo of this weeks sketch that I designed my card from.
Now it’s time to pop on over and visit the other ladies on the design team and see what they have come up with week.
