Hi everyone, do you know the good old say “time flys when you are having fun” well that is exactly what I have been doing this week, stamping up a storm in my craft room lol. For this week’s Stamping and Blogging Sketch Challenge I decided to use the Watercolor Wings stamp set. If you love two-step stamping then you are going to love this set. Here is my card for SB112.
I stamped the butterfly using Lost Lagoon and black Memento ink and then cut it out using the Butterflies Thinlits Dies. After adhering the white card onto the black background, I stuck the body of the butterfly down with a glue dot and popped the wings up using dimensionals. I love how it kinda creates a shadowed effect and makes the butterfly really pop of the card.
and this is what the inside looks like 🙂
Here is the photo of this week’s sketch challenge that I designed my card from. You can join in the fun, make a card and share it with us, for more information go to Sketch and Blog Challenge.
Now lets pop on over and see what the rest of the design team have come up with this week. You can do this by clicking on their links below.
