I can’t believe it is time for another Totally Techniques Blog Hop already, but I guess time always flies by when you are having fun lol. This month we are showcasing the watercolor Technique, make sure you check out what the rest of the design team have come up with, I know you will not be disappointed.
I must admit this card did not turn out exactly how I imagined it to look but I still kinda like it lol. I started by white embossing the flower from the Helping Me Grow stamp set on watercolor paper and coloured the background using an aqua painter and re-inkers (Island Indigo and Night of Navy). I wanted to try and create a bit of a denim look to the background, not really sure if I managed to pull it off or not lol, what do you think. Now on to colouring the flower, I wanted to use bright colours to make the flower pop so I went with Pumpkin Pie and Tangerine Tango and coloured the stems using Garden Green ink. I then white embossed the corners and saying and finished the card off by adding some clear Wink of Stella>
