Vivid Vases card for SB73 – Stampin’ Up!

Hi everyone, this time I decided to use Stampin’ Up! Vivid Vases stamp set for the Stamping and Blogging Sketch Challenge.  Here is my card for SB73.  Vivid Vases card I used the Burlap Ribbon for the background banner and pulled the threads out from the bottom and top of the ribbon to create a frayed look.

I used a post it note to mask the vases and then lightly sponged the background using Soft Sky ink.  I coloured the flowers using the Regal Markers and then painted on some Dazzling Details to add a bit of sparkle.  I finished the card off by putting Crystal Effects on the vases to give them a little dimension. I stamped a couple of the vases on the inside of the card by colouring the images I wanted with a black marker.  I huffed on the stamp to re-moisten the ink before stamping on the card.

Those vases with Crystal Effects look fabulous Patrice. Love the way you have used the burlap all fringed too. Sorry it took me a while to get to leaving a comment; last week was last week of term and things were full on!
