Hi everyone, back again with another fabulous Technique 101 Blog Hop, this month’s technique we are focusing on stamp in black and color with markers.
I don’t know about you but when I colour with my markers I always find it nice and relaxing ๐ I guess it brings back the memories of when I was little and I would spend hours colouring in with my Mum. ย OK so rather than making a full-size card this month I decided to make 2 small gift cards instead, as they are always handy when you want to give a small gift like a box of chocolates.
I stamped the anchor using basic black archival inkย I and coloured the image in using Crumb Cake and Smoky Slate markers (sold in the colour family packs) and finished the image off by adding some Clear Wink of Stella.ย
I then repeated the same process but this time used the tools stamp ๐
Iย thought the background of the card looked a little plain so I used the side edge of the marker and swiped it across the base card.
Whisper White Thick Card measurements
โ Base 16cm x 10cm (scored in half at 8cm)
โ Card front 7cm x 5cm
Basic Black Card measurements
โ 7.4cm x 5.4cm โ mat for card front
