Hi everyone, today’s share is using the Snow Place bundle from the 2015 Holiday Catalogue (released 1st September), make sure you contact Patrice if you want your own personal copy, I am happy to pop one in the post for you.
Now I just wanted to let you know about some changes that are going to be happening, it is just going to be a little different from now on. I am sad to let you know that this is the last card that I will be sharing as a Stamping and Blogging Design Team member, it has been such a pleasure getting to know this lovely and talented team of ladies. I can’t thank Sandi and Heather enough for giving me this fabulous opportunity, it has been so much fun. Now I am a firm believer that there is always something good that comes from change and I am thrilled to let you know that we do have something in the pipeline. Now for the exciting part you will get to learn a new technique every month, and then some of us will share what we have done using that technique, pretty cool huh.
Here is my card for SB119.
Ok now let’s get back to telling you a little bit about this card. You may be wondering what stamp I have used for the row of blue and orange dots, well it is the small button stamp from this set, I just stamped it multiple times lol. The top portion needed a hint of colour so I lightly sponged the background piece and then stamped the snowflake image a few times (I stamped the image off on scrap paper a couple of time before stamping on the card to create a lighter effect). Now for the fun part, don’t you just love the little snowman, I know I do lol and having the matching dies made it a breeze for creating the layers.
This stamp set is just so darn adorable and can be used for more than Christmas cards, I reckon the little penguin is ideal for using on a birthday card. The only difference is I used the Gorgeous Grunge stamp in the background and gave the penguin a double scoop of ice cream lol.
and this is what the inside looks like.
Here is the photo of this week’s sketch challenge that I designed my card from. You can join in the fun, make a card and share it with us, for more information go to Sketch and Blog Challenge.
