Simple Box Card Blog Hop #FF12

It is time for another fabulous Fancy Fold Blog Hop and this month we are focusing on the Simple Box Card.  This is a super fun fold that allows you to hide something small inside like gift tags for example. Make sure you check out all the other cards the rest of the design team have come up with, I am sure you are going to love them all.

I have kept this card nice and simple and used the good old classic colour scheme of black and white with a hint of silver, I don’t think you can every go wrong using this colour combination.

The biggest tip I have when making this fold is to make sure you do ALL your stamping before assembling the box lol, yes I learnt the hard way.  I stamped the sayings but totally forgot to stamp the balloon strings hehe so hence the first card ended up in the bin.  I die cut and punched out the balloons from either basic black or silver foil card and layered a couple before popping on dimensionals and adhering to card.  I kept the inside of the card very plain by just stamping a saying.

I then popped a gift card (used my business card as did not make it to the shops lol) and added a few of the Metallic Sequins on top.

Such a stunning card Patrice and great stamp regarding stamping all the elements first before assembling. . . my first attempt ended in the bin for that very reason. I love the black and silver contrast in the balloons and the sequins are a brilliant addition. ❤️
