Seasonally Scattered Card for SB82

Hi everyone, the images in the Seasonally Scattered stamp set are gorgeous and they worked perfectly for what I had in mind for creating the card for this weeks Stamping and Blogging Sketch Challenge. Here is my card for SB82.

I love doing the Emboss Resist technique, it is such a quick and easy technique to do but OH SO much fun.  I started by sponging Pool Party and Marina Mist ink on the white piece of card and then clear embossed the image over the top.  I then sponged Night of Navy over the top to make the image pop, wiped the excuse ink off with a paper towel and that’s it, how easy is that.  I added the little Frosted Sequins and Rhinestones to to create a little dimension and life to the card.

I decided the background looked a little stark so I stamped some images, used by inkpads and sponges to tone it down a little.

WOWIE, this is a stunning winter card.
I love all the details, the spunging, embossing, the layering and the colors work so well on this card.
