Hi everyone, it is time for another Totally Techniques Blog Hop and this month we are focusing on the Resist Technique. There are a couple of different ways that you can do this technique (heat emboss or crayon) and I have done a combination of the two.
I started by stamping the flower using Smoky Slate ink and then clear embossed over the top. I coloured the inside of the flower using a white wax oil crayon and then gently sponged over the top, making sure not to wipe the crayon off.
Then it was just a case of carefully removing the white crayon using a baby wipe making sure not to wipe any other area on the card, you only want to wipe the crayon off. Allow to dry and then colour the stamen and stem of the flower using a blender pen and ink pads. I also slightly shaded the flower a little using the smoky slate ink.
I kept the inside nice and simple.
