It is time for another fabulous Fancy Fold Blog Hop and this month we are focusing on the Pop Up Book Card.
I decided to keep the card front nice and simple this time around after all the magic happens when you open the card.
I must admit I never really use to be a fan of the foil card but once I started using it I was addicted. Don’t you just love the effect of it, I do 🙂 and the funny thing is when I die cut out an image I usually get somebody ask if it is metal or has it been heat embossed.
Now the inside took me a little more time to make even thou I still kept it pretty simple lol. I guess the hardest part (apart from the cutting) was figuring out how to decorate the little Pop Up Book Card portion. Originally I was going to keep an area in the book to write on but it just did not look right, and I figured you can always write on the back of the card. I also added a couple of small strips down the side of the book to make the image pop a little more.
Lastly here is view of the top of the card so show you what the actual fold looks like.
Here is a copy of the cutting template for the inside of the card.
