Nailed It Card – great for the man in your life

The RETIRING PRODUCT LIST IS HERE, make sure you check out what is on this list before it goes as they will only be available while supplies last.

I Nailed It this time!! seriously I have used the Nailed It stamp set on the card I am going to share with you today lol.  I must admit I will be sad to see this set retire as it is one of my favourite bundles in the Occasions catalogue.  I think a lot of people feel the same way as sadly this bundle has already sold out but you can still purchase the stamp set in wood.

Bokeh Technique Blog Hop #TT17

Hi Stampers, it is time for another Totally Techniques Blog Hop and this month we are focusing on the Bokeh Technique.
Totally Techniques Banner new
The Bokeh Technique in the paper world was inspired by a technique that is used in photography.  My understanding is this technique is where you create a background image that represents the diffusion of light into orbs.  You can create some pretty impressive backgrounds using this technique, so why not give it a go.  Make sure you hop around the world to see what the rest of the design team have come up with, I am sure you are going to love what these talented ladies are sharing with you today.
This is the first time I have ever tried this technique and must admit I am pleased with the end result.

I have used the Beautiful You stamp set for this card and I started by stamping the girl image using black StazOn ink directly onto the card front and then stamped the second image onto sticky strip (post it note tape). (more…)

I thought it would be fun to make the little umbrella a little more 3D so I stamped it on scrap, coloured, cut out and then popped a dimensional in the centre and glue dots around the edges before adhering to the card. (more…)
