I must admit when I first heard that Stampin’ Up! was releasing My Digital Studio – MDS here I was excited but nervous at the same time lol. Anyway I decided the best way to learn to use a new product is to just jump in and play. I had so much fun making this card and it was a lot easier than I thought it would be. The hardest part was making the flower stamp multi coloured lol. I ended up cropping out the different areas of the stamp and then changing the colour. No doubt there is a far easier way to do it but I DID IT!! so that is the main thing.
Here is a close up photo of the front of the card so you can see the shadow effect I have added to the flowers. The only thing I have added to the card after printing are the rhinestones.
I love decorating up the inside of the card so they tie in and this is what I came up with.
and the last photo is a close up of the flower in the corner. I love how you can bring what ever image you like to the front and add what ever embellishments you want and still have the inside sitting nice and flat. I have added the rhinestones on the inside of the card using MDS and I am really pleased with how it looks.
I hope you like it as much as I enjoyed making it.
I would love to hear what you think.
The exciting news is you can TRIAL MDS for 30 days OR if you love making cards you can purchase it at a very minimal cost.
All you need to do is CLICK HERE

PAtrice – well done for a first attempt – you colour the image by by double clicking – you will get a an image colour screen with a brush, a palette etc – I am at work so don’t have the correct terminology – give me a call and I will walk you through it if you like
Cheers

Wow – this looks great. I wouldn’t have guessed it was done with MDS. The flowers really look 3D.
Great cards Patrice. I have yet to make an MDS card but have been playing around with the digital content
