Markers Technique 101 Blog Hop

Welcome to another exciting blog hop, this month we are going to be focusing on using markers. The Stampin’ Up! markers are fantastic because you can use them in so many different ways but today I decided to focus on adding colour to a stamped image.

I love using the markers on the new glossy white card because the marker colour glides on perfectly giving a nicely coloured image.

The biggest thing you need to do is allow a little extra time for the stamped image to dry when you stamp on glossy card.  I coloured the entire image first and then created a little shading by recolouring some portions of the skirt etc.

Such a nice color combi Patrice! And perfect coloring! How did you do the skin tone? Which SU color is this?

Thanks Heike 🙂 all the colouring was done using the Subtle Markers, I used the Pink Pirouette for the skin tone.
