Don’t you hate it when you have a brainwave in the middle of the night and just can’t get back to sleep until you get up and do what you are thinking about lol.  Well that is exactly what happened to me a couple of nights ago hehe, end result is the card that I am about to show you.
Lever Card by Patrice www.createwithstamps.co.nz
After stamping the motorbike image (using black archival ink) onto thick white card I used the Lots of Labels Framelits to cut it out.  I then created a window on the base card (black piece) using the next size up framelit die.  I stamped the Watercolor Wash image in VersaMark ink onto the front of the black base card, sprinkled white embossing powder on and heat set it.  I then added a few splotches to the black base card, black mat card, around the edges of the white card using VersaMark ink and heat embossed in silver.    Hopefully, it makes sense what I have done lol, here is a close up photo to give you a better idea what I mean.

I then cut, scored and stamped a smaller whisper white piece of card (not the thick card) and adhered it to the inside of the card, creating the base of the Lever Card.  Then it was just a case of adhering the right-hand portion of the matted motorbike image by lining it up thru the window (make sure you do not add any adhesive to the left-hand portion of the white scored card otherwise you will be unable to open your card).  Unfortunately, I am having problems with loading videos onto my editing program so will have to add a video at a later date, but here is photo of what it looks like from the top.

and this is what the card looks like when it has been semi-opened, it also shows a better view of how the left-hand portion of the bike image (black matting) has not been adhered.
