Hi everyone, it’s time for another Dream Theme Blog Hop and this month’s theme is Halloween.
I could not resist getting these cute little pumpkin halloween chocolates I spotted in the supermarket recently, I thought they would work perfectly with the Seasonal Chums bundle I had at home lol. Yes, I am totally addicted to crafting (just like you) and constantly looking out for things that will go with stamps etc that I have at home hehe.
This is a nice, quick and simple project to make, which is fabulous if you intend on making a few. I started by stamping the pumpkin using black Memento ink and then coloured it in using our new Blends pens and I then fussy cut out the little pumpkin (I am soooo excited that we are getting the alcohol markers back). You also have the option of using the matching dies if you hate fussy cutting or just want to speed things.
I sponged the background card and the piece that I stamped the saying on using Smoky Slate ink. I stamped the saying using Tangerine Tango ink, cut out and roughened up the edges before adhering to the front of the topper. I adhered the pumpkin using dimensionals to add a little extra dimension to the project. I then added a little wink of stella brings the pumpkin to life.
I was having so much fun playing with this set that I decided to make a lollipop holder too. I coloured the pumpkin in using the blends pens again but this time I only used the lighter coloured pens and did not use the color lifter to lighten the centre area. I then created the stitches around the edges by using the black marker, I know the stitches are not perfect but I still love the overall look. I also shaped the pumpkin and popped it up on dimensionals.
One of the fun things about this set is that it has a front and back view of the same image.
And the lollipop that is inside the pouch and the pumpkin colours match perfectly lol.
The lucky last project I am sharing with you today is a Tiny Treat Box filled with chocolate raisins. I made a little belly band from black card, wrapped some Burlap Ribbon around it and tied the little pumpkin tag to the belly band.
