For the New Two Card for SB114

For this week’s Stamping and Blogging Sketch Challenge I decided to create a Wedding card using the For the New Two stamp set and Timeless Elegance Designer Series Paper.  Here is my card for SB114.

I have used some of the subtle patterns from the Timeless Elegance Designer Series Paper on this card so that I could stamp the saying directly onto the paper.  To make the little flowers pop I stamped them onto some scrap Shimmery White card and cut them out, I know call me crazy as it was very fiddly, but I do love the end result.

The Congrats from the Expressions Natural Elements was the perfect size, just the wrong colour BUT I really wanted to use it lol.  Hmmm what to do, light bulb moment lol why not try heat embossing it to change the colour, so that is exactly what I did.  I used White Embossing Powder for the first couple of coats and then Iridescent Ice Embossing Powder for the top coat, it just added that little bit of bling 🙂
