It is time for another fabulous Fancy Fold Blog Hop and this month we are focusing on the Double Dutch Fold. This is the first time I have had a go at making this fold and I will def be doing it again, it is so quick and easy.
I used the Santa’s Sleigh stamps and dies so I could have another play with my new Blends, yip they are my new favourite toy. I bet when you get your hands on the blends then you will feel the same way lol, they are addictive. Now I have to be honest there was another reason I used this set too, I wanted to be able to cover the centrefold join and I figured the little tree trunk was a perfect size to be able to do that.
I embossed the background piece of card using the Softly Falling Embossing Folder. Stamped all the images using black Memento Ink and coloured the images using a selection of my new Blends. I then adhered the tree and presents using a combination of tape and dimensionals. I dazzled the tree up a little by popping a few Metallic Enamel Shapes on and added a little Wink of Stella. I stamped a greeting on the little pocket on the inside of the card.
For today’s share, I decided to adapt the fold a little and turn it into a gift card holder. This is what it looks like, oops forgot to get a gift card lol so have just grabbed a random card and popped it in to give you the idea.
