Hi everyone, I had a great time making a Clay Flower card for this weeks Stamping and Blogging Sketch Challenge. The little flowers are so quick and easy to make, the longest part is waiting for them to dry lol. Anyway here is my card for SB81.
I started by white embossing the images onto black cardstock and then coloured the images (including words) in using my Old Olive Blendabilities. I love how versatile the Blendabilites are, you can colour in such a wide variety of items, it is more a case of what you can’t colour lol. I made the flowers and left them over night to dry. I then coloured the clay flowers in using So Saffron, Crushed Curry and Pumpkin Pie Stampin’ Write Markers and then added a small amount of glitter to highlight some of the raised areas on the flowers. I adhered the flowers using Multipurpose Liquid Glue, a lot of other adhesives don’t work. I finished the card off by using the Stylish Stripes Embossing Folder to create some texture on the background card.
Here is a photo of this weeks sketch that I designed my card from.

It is so nice to see someone using the clay again, there are so many items I have overlooked in the annual catalogue since the seasonal came out. thanks for reminding me with your beautiful card x
