I am so excited to be able to welcome you to our first Totally Techniques Blog Hop. A few of my very talented friends from around the world and I have decided it would be fun to get together once a month and share projects we have all made using the same technique.
This Months technique is Water Colouring on Embossed Card
Color Me Irresistable Designer Series Paper is my favourite DSP because I get to choose exactly what colour I want it to be. There are so many different and fun ways to add colour to this DSP but today I have used my Aqua Painter to create the background of my card. I am loving this colour combination and thought it tied in perfectly with the flower stamp from the Butterfly Basic set. This is what I came up with for TT01.
I stamped the flower in Black StazOn ink onto watercolour paper and then coloured it using the Aqua Painter and same coloured re-inkers I used on the background.
There is more than one way that you can add colour to embossed card using an Aqua Painter, here is a short video showing you how I coloured the background of this card.
Now it’s time to pop on over and see what the rest of the design team have come up with, let’s start by looking at the gorgeous card Amy Koenders has come up with this month.
