Bloom With Hope Card – SB71

Hi everyone, it is time for another Stamping and Blogging Sketch Challenge and I decided to use one of my favourite stamp sets again, Bloom with Hope has some gorgeous images in it.  This is a Hostess only set, if you would like to know how you can get it please contact me.  Here is my card for SB71.
Bloom With Hope SB71This week we had to include Washi Tape which I did not mind doing at all lol, I love it.  I decided to scrunch up the Washi Tape for a slightly different look and love the way it turned out.  I used some of the Venetian Crochet Trim, added a Pearl to a Candy Dot base and then tied some Linen Thread around the Brad Base to finish it off.  Here is a close up photo.

I wanted to make the flower pop a little so I stamped a second image on scrap card, coloured it and cut out part of the flower.  I then shaped it and adhered it using dimensionals and glue dots.  I finished the card off by painting some Crystal Effects on the flower.

Beautiful card, love it. Love the two distressed layers, the scrunched washi tape is wonderful, love the peek of trim under the sentiment and the flower is a real darling. Brilliant idea edging it with Crystal Effect. Thank you so much Patrice for sharing your ideas. Came to your blog from following the blog hop.
