Hi everyone, this week I decided to give you a bit of a sneak peek and have used the Awesomely Artistic stamp set from the new 2015/2016 Stampin’ Up! Annual Catalogue. My catalogue is already starting to show signs of being loved, but that is a good sign, right 🙂 Now don’t worry I have plenty of catalogues to share around, just contact Patrice if you would like me to reserve a copy for you. Here is the card I have made for SB104.
I reckon the little dragonfly is just so darn stinkin cute, I can see this set easily becoming one of my favourites. I created the two-toned effect on the butterfly using the Sahara Sand inkpad and Early Espresso maker, I then painted a little Dazzling Details on the dragonfly to bring it to life.
I love using the Blender Pen to colour images, that way you can control the depth of colour.
I could not resist using the little dragonfly stamp again so I decorated up the inside of the card too 🙂
Here is a photo of this week’s sketch challenge that I designed my card from, now I have some exciting news for you 🙂 You can now play along and have some fun designing a card using this sketch, then click here to share it with us. I can’t wait to see what you have come up with.
Ok now let’s go and visit the rest of the design team to see what they have come up with this week, you can do this by clicking on their links below.

I am drooling over your new stamp set Patrice, I love your card and your stamping is beautiful, I want it NOW!
You make me laugh 🙂 must admit it is one of my favourite stamp sets.
Love this stamp set we received at Managers Reception! How cool we both did very similar things with our stamping this week – great minds think alike and all that! Really love your card but cannot believe you fussy cut the dragon fly body! That is commitment!
We did think alike lol, gotta admit I only cut the dragon fly out as I was going to add vellum wings but then changed my mind, was not going to bin the body after all that fussy cutting lol.
I am so excited…I ordered this set and look what beautiful things you did with it! Great job. Hugs from Shelagh.
Thanks Shelagh 🙂 you will love getting this set in your hot little hands.
Wow, great card
Thanks Barbara 🙂 loved catching up with you at Convention.
This is just beautiful Patrice, such a lovely card.
This is an outstanding card design … you’ve sold me on this stamp set.
Absolutely the prettiest card I have seen in a long while. Love this stamp set. Both are Gorgeous!
